<p style="text-align: left;">The fact that we had previously scooped their award for stand design and build supplier of the year meant we had an enviable reputation to live up to – and the challenge for our creative team was intensified as we had a 2m x 2m space in which to communicate our message.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Yet again our Live team excelled themselves with an eye-catching concept that put the frighteners on our competition and left a number of the show visitors open-mouthed.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The focus of the stand was on our capacity to develop powerful creative solutions – so who better to demonstrate this than one of our top creatives?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">However, with clear evidence that his explosive capacity for original design had seriously wounded several of our clients&#8217; competitors, he needed to be suitably restrained in public.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">A padded cell, mask and strait jacket did the trick. Along with advice to visitors that they shouldn’t get too close unless they had a challenging brief with which to defend themselves.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Thankfully, there were a number of brave visitors willing to step up and take a closer look, ask some questions and have a read through our case study newspaper.</p>

<p>We like doing things differently and it doesn’t stop at a funky look and feel; we use technologies that keep all those old browers, iPhones and the latest iPads happy, to create  interactive animation and amazing graphics that ensure maximum audience reach. We&#8217;re clever like that.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Our task was to help Roland make a real impact at the show and deliver a stand that would engage visitors around the company’s products in an eye-catching, interactive environment.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">A combination of innovative lighting and bright orange sections brought a bold injection of colour to our clean, modern structure and we were careful to ensure that visitors had the chance to get to grips with a number of the company’s products.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">A series of live demonstrations added to the interactive experience and helped underline the quality, dynamism and expertise within Roland.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Delivered swiftly and on budget, Roland was delighted with the stand and immediately briefed us to repeat the concept at Grand Designs LIVE.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">With only two weeks to go before the show opened, we set to work adapting the existing designs – transforming our initial concept from a stand that only opened on two sides into a new fully-accessible island structure.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">This was no mean feat for the Live team but, true to form, they rose to the challenge – evidenced by the great feedback at Grand Designs from Roland staff and show visitors alike.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">The colourful creative is the first in a series of ads designed to build awareness of Heatline’s expertise in the radiator market among plumbers and installers across the UK – as well as helping to drive sales for their independent merchant partners.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">These ads are the latest stage of brand development work we are delivering for Heatline and complement recent updates we have made to their website, product literature and sales materials.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">For those of you that don’t regularly subscribe to any of the heating titles we’ve included a picture of the ad above so you can see for yourself why we are so proud.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Medtec – an exhibition aimed at ‘problem-solving’ engineers and developers in the medical technology industry – provides Parker with the opportunity to show off their varied product portfolio, from large ventilation equipment to miniature connecting devices &#8211; all of which are designed to make technology easier to use, more efficient and accurate, ultimately saving lives in the process.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Our creative solution focused on the human element of medical technology, using evocative photography to highlight the impact that improved efficiency and precision can have on the lives of medical professionals and patients alike.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">An eye-catching display, featuring a life-size respiratory dummy, took centre stage while some of Parker’s key products were displayed prominently throughout the stand giving visitors the chance to handle and engage with the devices.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">All of these elements helped Parker welcome an unprecedented number of visitors to their stand, leaving them delighted with the impact we helped them achieve during the two-day event.</p>

<p>We’ve been working closely with their Group Risk experts to help visualise an ad campaign that aims to inspire independent financial advisers and brokers to work together with Canada Life and exchange ideas that will drive business in this important sector.</p>
<p>The campaign will run throughout the summer with a range of concepts that we hope will highlight some of the issues within the group risk market, encouraging genuine co-operation and delivering tangible end user benefits.</p>

<p>We recently had the opportunity to head up to Nottingham and catch up with our friends at nkd &#8211; the waxing and specialist hair removal company.</p>
<p>You might remember we had the exciting challenge of developing their brand identity for launch into a growing market at the end of last year.</p>
<p>Well, as it turns out, their introduction has been a far from painful experience and their treatments (ranging from eyebrow threading to pubic topiary) have been catching the eye of the locals as the business has made a smooth start to life in the city.</p>
<p>The various signage, price lists and flyers have all played their part in helping to build a client base for the salon which is growing week by week. The next challenge is to look at how we can engage more cutomers online and maximise local advertising opportunities.</p>
<p>Despite a high-pressure campaign from inside the agency, the team returned with all hair intact but there are rumours of a charity wax later in the year. The more money raised, the more hair goes, so start shaving&#8230;sorry&#8230;saving now.</p>

<p>‘Added Value’ is a well-used phrase at the moment, nonchalantly thrown around to solve manufacturer, supplier and customer relationship issues – particularly during a time of global financial pressure. There’s no doubt it is easy to suggest providing ‘added value’ for the customer as part of any brand building strategy but the difficulty comes when identifying what form that value takes.</p>
<p><span id="more-2760"></span>Thankfully, given our experience of developing and managing retailer marketing programmes, we can spot solid opportunities when we see them and have put these skills to good use with a recent project for Caterpillar.</p>
<p>This year marks the 25<sup>th</sup> Anniversary of Caterpillar and their backhoe loader (digger to you and me) and the construction giant wanted to use this iconic machine to underline the strength, reliability, low operating costs and service support that run across its entire range.</p>
<p>They produced 25 special anniversary edition backhoe loaders (complete with luxuriously customised leather interior) for use at appearances across the UK and Europe.</p>
<p>Now, with a little strategic thinking from BMB, Caterpillar also has a marketing pack for each of its European distributors to help them set up customer events, build excitement and drive footfall – encouraging discussion around the backhoe loader and other key performers from the Caterpillar range.</p>
<p>No matter the size or location of a distributor, the pack contains a suite of useful marketing tools they can tailor to their specific event including ad templates, DM pieces, letter suggestions, email examples, posters and invitations – all correctly branded with consistent messaging.</p>
<p>Caterpillar maximises the potential impact of a European-wide backhoe loader tour, the distributors enthuse their local contacts and have the chance to generate sales leads while customers take inspiration and confidence from dealing with a professional, experienced and organised construction company.</p>
<p>It all adds up in the end.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">Vauxhall recently launched two special edition Astras, fully kitted out in fashionable white (thanks to Steve Jobs, thats the guy behind Apple, white really is the new black). BMB were comissioned to create the national advertising campaign to promote these models. Our whole approach was to make white look amazing, tricky in newspaper print. After some clever lighting in the studio, and an equally clever headline, Dark Horses ran.</p>
